The Groundhog is predicting six more weeks of winter!  As February begins, the first graders are going to go on a winter adventure.  Please wear PAJAMAS to school tomorrow  as we will be pretending to be “waking up” from hibernation to see how the weather is.

Then we will meet as a grade level and take a closer look at the groundhog and how he can predict the weather.  We are wondering what our prediction will be after we have this adventure.

So, wear your pajamas to school tomorrow and bring your warm winter clothing to embark on our First Grade Adventure!

    I'm sorry Andrew did not wear his PJ's. Whenever there is something out of the ordinary he tends to stress about it. So he wore regular clothes because he didn't like the choices I offered him. Sounds like lots of fun no matter what he decided to wear!
