Terrific Tuesday

All About Me Guidance Lessons Began Today!
A great way to get to know more about each and everyone in our class.

In computer lab, the students made Text to Self Connections with our poem The Leaves on the Tree by creating a picture using the Art Pad on Little Bird Tales Below is a student example of her connection to the poem.

Next the students and I read the book We're Going On a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger.  Then we went on an actual leaf hunt and found many colorful leaves just like the children did in the story.

Our day ended as it began with a story, but this time we got to share it with our 4K and Multiage Reading Buddies!

21st Annual State Inclusion Institute

The past three days I have had the opportunity to attend the Inclusion Institute in Wausau Wisconsin.  I truly enjoyed both keynote speakers Jerry Mills and Laura Nadine.  You can click on either of their names to find out more about these amazing people.

I also was able to present at the conference with members from my school.  It was an honor to share our information with attendees at the conference.  If you are interested in finding out about our presentation click on Operation Rainbow.
