The weather finally agreed to be warm enough for Mr. Millot to take the students out for a snowshoe lesson.

The kids were super excited :)

Helping one another :)

We got this!

Giving each other tips on how to get over the hill.

Time to take them off.

Our Valentine's Day in First Grade and a Look Back at Kindergarten

As we celebrated friendship and community this Valentine's Day we also reflected on how much we have grown as a student and class.  We talked about friends we miss and new friendships we have made.  Together, we watched our Valentine video from last year and were amazed had how little we looked :)

Check out the difference for yourself!

The Groundhog is predicting six more weeks of winter!  As February begins, the first graders are going to go on a winter adventure.  Please wear PAJAMAS to school tomorrow  as we will be pretending to be “waking up” from hibernation to see how the weather is.

Then we will meet as a grade level and take a closer look at the groundhog and how he can predict the weather.  We are wondering what our prediction will be after we have this adventure.

So, wear your pajamas to school tomorrow and bring your warm winter clothing to embark on our First Grade Adventure!
