The past three days I have had the opportunity to attend the Inclusion Institute in Wausau Wisconsin. I truly enjoyed both keynote speakers Jerry Mills and Laura Nadine. You can click on either of their names to find out more about these amazing people.
I also was able to present at the conference with members from my school. It was an honor to share our information with attendees at the conference. If you are interested in finding out about our presentation click on Operation Rainbow.
Take a look at how these young learners are inspired, engaged, and empowered to take ownership of their learning in our kindergarten classroom.

Wisconsin State Reading Association
WSRA Early Childhood Literacy Committee
Do you have a passion of teaching literacy to our early learners?
If you do, please consider joining WSRA's Early Childhood Literacy Committee. Our mission is to highlight the importance of
- a rich oral language environment in high quality preschool programs,
- meaningful language and literacy experiences in 4K-2nd grade classrooms and in the home,
- research-based literacy instruction that enhances children's learning in school settings, and
- professional development opportunities to early childhood educators throughout Wisconsin.
We hope to see you at our Fall Leadership meeting on September 13 at the Crowne Plaza in Madison.
