NEW STUDENT BLOG AND OUR FIRST SLICE OF LIFE POST!

A GREAT WAY TO BEGIN THE WEEK!

Happy Tuesday! Today we began a new blog just for students!
The students were introduced to the new website/app Seesaw. Seesaw is a digital literacy tool that empowers students to share their learning with others. The students are able to scan a QR code that is unique to our Blog and then find their name and begin to independently capture their learning through photos, videos, drawing, text and more. My hope is that the students will be inspired to create their own digital portfolios.
Every Tuesday we will be participating in the Slice of Life Classroom Challenge. This is also new and interesting to us. We have so much to share everyday with you. Please let us know what you think by commenting on our posts. Today our writings are a little glimpse at our three day weekend :)

  1. What fun you will have with your kids! I loved their slices, it's so fun to see what's important to them. Just from their language of "hot dish" and "casserole" I inferred you had to be in Wisconsin. Then someone referred to Appleton, so that confirmed my inference. My family is from Wisconsin, so those words hit home. Welcome to slicing!
