Happy Summer Vacation!

What an absolutely beautiful last day of the school year today! 

School's Out For The Summer

Our morning began with Jump Start and then the students took off on their Passport to Summer Adventures.  Their rotations included:

Soccer

Cha Cha

Relay Races

Next the I gave the students their Class DoJo Awards! Their faces glowed and you could feel their happy hearts!

In the afternoon we finished our Portfolios and then the students "Had a Ball of Fun"! A special thank you to Mrs. Berns for volunteering to help us today and to Mrs. Funk for being a great addition to our school family!

Then the students have been waiting all year to find out what is in the school birthday bags. Well, today I gave them a Happy Summer Vacation full of birthday goodies and a special message. 

We ended our day we an all school Dance Party!

The students discussed key points in two informational texts and then explained how plants are important to our survival!

Spring Music Concert!

After our concert we spent time reading a variety of books while we waited for the 2nd and 3rd performance to begin!
