Today Was One of Those Days!

As I reflect on today I am reminded of why I began teaching.

Hearing the laughter,
Watching the kindness,
Seeing the willingness,
Sharing the excitement,
Assessing the growth,
Creating the memories,
Building the knowledge,
Stepping back and saying,
Wow!
These kids are AMAZING!
The rain won't bring us down because we are exploring our new sensory materials ~ Rainbow Rice, Moon Sand & Stress Balls

Then the students chose which author to research and then began to write their narrative recount of one of the author books!

Next it was time for a snack and some fun after all that hard work!  We made our own versions of a DQ Blizzard!

Our day ended as it began with reading. The pictures below represent some of the students practicing for Stephanie's Ponytail by Robert Munsch!  We have so much fun reading, becoming the story and being together!  Learning from each other.
And a little bubble fun as we cleaned the desks before final pickup!
