The Reader’s Theater script The Ucky Duck is in your child’s binder.  Please read through the script with your child and have him/her decide on a just right part.  This performance will be different than the past as the students will actually be memorizing their parts and performing it as a play.  We will still spend time in our classroom during Shared Reading/Read To Someone to work on our parts but the students will need to practice reading every night at home to build accuracy, fluency, expression and understanding.

I hope to have parts assigned tomorrow and we will begin our reading together to understand the story, then set up the scenes and then work on memorizing.
